By: Debbie Schaller Welcome to CPR/ First Aid! We have just begun the CPR portion of our fitness class. Students will have to opportunity to earn their COP/First Aid cards by performing several practical skills in front of an instructor as well as passing several tests with 80% or better. Your child will meet for this class twice a week for seven weeks and the other days they will be doing a personal weight-training program in the weight room. I encourage each student to get their certifications in that they could be useful in the future. |

By: Justin Trombka I am a senior at Eastern Michigan University majoring in physical education with a minor in health. With the cooperation of Mrs. Aston and the other PE teachers I have been able to create this newsletter, the new PE department website and the Women's lifetime video to help the parents of the Grosse Ile school district have a greater understanding of what is going on in the PE curriculum. |
|
To all parents/ guardians please let us know what you think about the new newsletter and website. We would appreciate your feedback on what you would like to see in the future and any other information on the planned curriculum that you would like to know about. |
