I
began my teaching career at Grosse Ile High School in the fall of 1997.
During my tenure, I have taught Biology, Earth Science, Science Links,
Integrated Science and Leadership.
I started my college career at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in Pre-Med. I transferred to Eastern Michigan when I changed my program to teaching. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Biology Major, General Science Minor and secondary teaching certification in 1997. I have the DA and DX endorsements, which make me highly qualified to teach biology plus any other branch of science. Currently, there is no highly qualified designation for leadership. I graduated from Eastern Michigan in April of 2008 with a Master's in Educational Psychology. I graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1991. I have been the G.I.H.S. student council adviser since the fall of 2000. This picture is from "Lookout Mountain" outside Golden, Colorado |
