Child Care I & II
We have been attending the Head Start program for lab experiences since October 2, 2007.
As of now, the experiences seem to be going well. All the students are placed in rooms with the children. Some of the students have been asked to assist with the breakfast tables, lead group activities. One of the teachers wrote a list of things that the students are going to be required to do.
First marking period grades will be out soon. Please let me know if you have questions about your student's progress in class.
Parent-Teacher conferences will be November 15. Look for a letter to be sent home about the conference time and location.
Teacher Cadet
Students have been working hard and have already completed 3 units from the course. The students completed a puppet show and presented a book for preschoolers. The preschoolers and the teachers talked about it for a couple of days after the performance. Now the students are completing their own day care design.
