When absent, you are responsible for obtaining make-up work on the day you return to school. The assignment is due the day after you return to class. This work is to be done while in class and is expected on my desk at the end of class. Students who skip class will not be permitted to make up in-class work.
You will be required to read a current or best seller business book. You will need this book on Mondays. Class time will be given to read the book. You will be required to report weekly on the book. These reports are due each Friday and are worth 25% of your grade. I will provide a list of pre-approved business books. If you’d like to read a different one, seek approval from me first.
All tests will be announced. Quizzes will not necessarily be announced.
You are considered tardy if you are not in the door when the bell rings.
You may be assigned to review a current article dealing with business or the topics of the current chapter. It is acceptable to use the Internet to find your article; however, you must print the article (for points) to turn in with your summary. Class time will be given to complete these. Articles will be assigned through the semester.
Golden Rules: Remain in your assigned seat until the dismissal bell rings.
No instant messaging or computer games.
No food or drink in class.
