Brush Project -- CREATE TWO SEPERATE BRUSH DOCUMENTS.  Name them as Brush1.psd and Brush2.psd.  For each....

It should not be any smaller than 4x6 or larger than 8x10.  Use from 200 to 300 resolution.

Remember to put each individual brush on a separate layer -- it makes moving them easier.

Remember you can add shadows, or contour or bevel and emboss to any brush or drawing -- double click the layer just to the right of the name and your "brush preset" menu will appear.

Remember you can change the shape of the brush -- increase the brush (or stamp) or change the direction of the brush -- this is all done in the "brush tip shapes" sub menu.

TO LOAD BRUSHES -- I have a ton of brushes available in the H: share drive...follow these directions.

Make sure your Brush icon is active.

Click your Brush Pallette     and then click the small arrow at the end of the tab

Another longer menu will open up.  Choose Load Brushes

Go the H: share, hurley-student files, Adobe and brushes upzipped

Choose which brush set.  The brush set will appear at the bottom of the available brush pallet.  REMEMBER YOU CAN CHANGE THE BRUSH'S APPEARANCE BY CLICK ON BRUSH TIPS SHAPE.

To see brushes as an icon -- go to the same drive but use "My Computer".  This will give you the name of the brush set -- HPFlowerDreams.  You would then go back to Adobe and find this name when loading brushes.

Examples from last year:
