Advocates for Grosse Ile Township Schools and public education can help by putting in a good word about the school district when they call, visit or write their elected representatives in Lansing and other national, state and local officials.  Specifically, advocates are encouraged:

2
To express positive comments about Grosse Ile academic programs, co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, outreach projects, community and school partnerships, the success of our students, important facts about Grosse Ile Township Schools and other points of pride;
2
To invite officials to visit our schools;
3
To encourage elected officials to invest more money on public education;
4
To talk about the need for more resources that will enable Grosse Ile Township Schools to meet the needs of students;
5
To communicate Grosse Ile Township School’s involvement and impact on our local community and beyond.
7
To address a particular concern that Grosse Ile Township Schools and/or public education are facing that could negatively impact opportunities for students.

The more “voices” that are heard expressing a concern or point of pride, the more potential there is for an elected official to speak on our behalf.  You can make a difference!
