đź“Ť Where? All testing will take place at the high school.

What tests will you take?
Depending on your grade, you’ll take one or more of the following:
PSAT 8/9 – Taken by 9th graders, this test helps you practice for future college entrance exams and gives insight into your academic strengths.
PSAT 10 – Taken by 10th graders, this is another step in preparing for the SAT and can help you qualify for scholarships in the future.
SAT – Taken by 11th graders, this is a key college entrance exam that many colleges and universities use for admissions and scholarships.
ACT WorkKeys – 11th graders also take this career readiness test, which can earn them a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) that’s valuable for job applications.
Why do we take these tests?
Practice & Preparation – The PSAT 8/9 and PSAT 10 help prepare you for the SAT, which is an important college entrance exam.
College & Scholarships – Your SAT score can be used for college applications and scholarships. A strong score can help open doors!
Career Readiness – The ACT WorkKeys test provides a certification that can help students stand out to employers.
State Requirements – These tests are required by the state of Michigan as part of your education and help schools understand how to support students academically.

Familiarizing students with the testing application (e.g., Bluebook)
Confirming that devices meet technical requirements
Completing the exam setup process
Reviewing test-taking rules
Verifying that personal information is correct
What Happens During the Check:
Students log in to the testing application using temporary credentials (similar to test day)
