Grosse Ile High School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rudy Weirich as our new Head Wrestling Coach. With an impressive track record and a passion for the sport, Coach Weirich, is set to lead our wrestling program to new heights.
Coach Weirich brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. As a former club, middle school, high school, and junior college levels, he has proven this commitment to developing athletes and fostering a winning culture. His dedication to the sport, combined with his leadership skills, will make a significant impact on our wrestling program. During his 18 years at the high school level, his teams won 10 league titles and produced 30 high school state qualifiers. At the college level, his team won the league title and had seven national qualifiers.
