The class of 2026 will be hosting their most phenomenal bake sale yet during lunchtime TODAY with lots of Valentine’s Day themed treats, all for just $1 each! Check out the class of 2026 Instagram page for more updates!
Our hockey team is hosting a non-perishable food drive for downriver veterans. Bring cans or
anything non-perishable to the box outside the office or to the team’s Military Night game
TOMORROW at 7:40. Make sure to wear camo!
GIHS! Please support this year Charity Week by purchasing an annual Charity Week T-shirt. Shirts will be on sale until Monday, February 26. The cost is only $12. All proceeds will benefit the Detroit Dog Rescue and Downriver Foster Closet. Check your email for the google form or scan a QR code in the hallway!
The Lacrosse team will be having a player-parent meeting on Tuesday, February 27 at 7:00 pm in the high school cafeteria. All students interested in playing Lacrosse this spring are invited to attend with their parents.
The Clay Target Team will have a player-parent meeting on Thursday, February 29th at 7:00 pm in the cafeteria. If you are interested in participating in the Clay Target team this year, please be sure to bring your parents to this meeting.
GIHS Health Science HOSA students will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, March 6 during the school day. Please register using the QR codes on flyers around the school and on the TV. Our November blood drive was very successful. Our school community was able to donate 36 units of blood and save countless lives! Check your email from Mrs. Metzger for the link as well as a parental consent form for those students that are 16.
