Every summer, 315,000 students in Southeast Michigan live with food insecurity. The GIHS National Honor Society is partnering with Gleaners and the Children's Hospital of Michigan to collect cereal for the community's children to keep them healthy and fed throughout the summer.
Cereal donations will be accepted at the high school from May 15 - May 30 during our 1st Hour classes. The class with the most donations by May 30 will win a Panera breakfast. Remember, hunger doesn't take a summer vacation!
